"The moment I stepped in Florence, I knew I was destined to be there. There was something magical in the air. I started at the Uffizi Gallery with the great masters and ended at the feet of David and the famous sculptures of the prisoners of MichelAngelo. I was home and finally ready to embrace my new journey."
Jenny Barnette started sculpting in 2006 after a having a dream. The dream led her to train in the Loire Valley in France. When she came back to the US she was commissioned to do a bust of former president Clinton and another to be presented at an event in NYC. After working as a sculptor, Jenny decided to further her career and training by going back to basics. This led her to the birthplace of Renaissance and the classical sculpture, Florence, to train at THE FLORENCE ACADEMY OF ART. For the past three years, Jenny trained in the Italian style and is now ready to share her technique.
